Kat started out as a photo of a dear friends cat perched on a couch taking the sun. It reminded me of the moment in 1982 when visiting Egypt I stood transfixed by the Sphinx. The same Power and Dignity was evident. So pencils hit paper and after 472 hours I finished Kat 😉
