Inspired by the many painters of the passed 100 years, finding ones own path through the forest is a challenge. Not wanting to copy but rather merge those influences with ones own ideas, then burst out of the cocoon displaying a new vision.

Minimalism can be emotional as colours collide or merge, evoking deep personal feelings while remaining simple. Sacha’s hard edge/colourfield works play on geometrical shapes derived from nature and the imagination. Sometimes percolating up from a deep Meditation or Dreams. These works are humbling. Simplifying our visual transcendence through the realm of space and time. On the other side of the artistic coin we see his abstract expressionist works playing out like the motion of Sufi Dervish dancers, Sitar riffs or a symphony of impromptu Jazz bites. Bouncing, clashing, inviting one too visually feast on.
